Expelled {Movie Review}

I went and saw Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed on Friday, opening night. I thought that Mr. Stein did a very good job of not just accepting what one side said, but looking into the matter to form his opinion and show it in a balanced fashion. He also did a good job of making this documentary interesting all the way around. I never thought that any part of it was dull or over bearing. I definitely recommend that everyone see this movie it. It is well worth the time and money. It is definitely a film that requires thought, and maybe even action.

Better half also wanted to see and support this movie, so we went last week. Premise was good and interviewing style was very good. I think he only scratched the surface of this issue and no doubt portrayed only a small piece of his interviews. I was disappointed in what he called his confrontation at the end of the movie. The questions were only softballs and I never really heard him ask the guy if he believed such censorship really occurs in the academic arena (only to the conservative side of course) as Ben suggested throughout. James thought it was more of a PBS type documentary as if we would ever see it there!
